Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Summary

If you buy vHire through the Platform for the first time, you may cancel that purchase within seven (7) calendar days of payment and receive a refund of the amount you paid, except the price of any Usage Unit you have already used (for example a candidate reveal, an assessment credit, an interview room or a verification case) and the one-time careers site set-up fee. You do not have to give a reason.

This applies to your first self-serve purchase: the first Order Form you accept and pay for at checkout. It does not apply to renewals or to later purchases.

2. What is refundable

• The refund window is seven (7) calendar days from the date of the payment that started your first Order Form. For a bank transfer, the days count from the date we confirm receipt.
• Usage Units you have already used are not refunded: their price is deducted from the refund.
• The one-time careers site set-up fee is not refunded: it pays for set-up work we start when payment is received.
• Renewal payments, Change Orders and purchases after your first are not refundable.
• When a refund is made, that Order Form and its licence end at once.
• Refund requests received after the seven-day window are not honored automatically. We may consider exceptions case by case, at our sole discretion.

3. How to request a refund

Send your request within the seven-day window: write to support@vhire.com from the email address registered on your workspace, quoting your Order Form or invoice number. We respond within one (1) business day.

4. Refund timeline

Once a refund is approved, the funds are returned to the original payment method:

• UPI / Net Banking / Wallets: typically 3-5 business days.
• Credit / Debit Cards: typically 5-7 business days, subject to your card issuer’s processing time.
• International cards: typically 7-10 business days.
• Bank transfer: to the account the payment came from, typically 5-7 business days.

Actual receipt of funds depends on your bank or card network. vHire does not control timelines once the payment provider has initiated the refund.

5. Renewal and cancellation

An Order Form does not renew automatically. It renews only when you accept and pay a renewal Order Form for the next term. If you do not, it ends at the end of the current term, so there is nothing to cancel and no next charge to avoid.

Outside the seven-day refund above, an Order Form cannot be cancelled for convenience during its initial term unless the Order Form itself says it can.

6. Your Order Form comes first

A purchase made under an Order Form is governed by that Order Form and the Standard Terms, not by this page. Where this page and those documents differ, they prevail.

7. Disputes

If you are unable to obtain a refund through the channels above and believe a refund is owed, contact us at support@vhire.com before initiating a chargeback. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue within five (5) business days.
