Technical Project Manager
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to support complex healthcare technology platforms and cross-functional technical initiatives. This role is responsible for driving technical delivery across multiple systems, integrations, and development teams while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and coordination of technical workstreams across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Build and maintain integrated technical delivery plans spanning development, QA, infrastructure, data, and vendor teams.
- Drive execution against technical milestones and proactively resolve delivery blockers.
- Facilitate technical planning sessions, backlog reviews, and cross-team dependency discussions.
- Ensure technical deliverables align with business objectives and implementation timelines.
- Coordinate end-to-end implementation activities involving APIs, file integrations, portals, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Maintain visibility into system interactions and technical dependencies across applications.
- Review technical solutions for feasibility, scalability, operational readiness, and downstream impacts.
- Partner with developers, architects, QA teams, and technical leads to identify risks and gaps early in the lifecycle.
- Drive technical readiness reviews before development and production deployment activities.
- Coordinate production deployment activities and release readiness reviews.
- Ensure completion of testing, validation, rollback planning, and operational handoff activities.
- Track release dependencies across teams and environments.
- Support CAB and release management processes.
- Monitor post-production performance and facilitate issue resolution during hypercare.
- Develop and maintain technical implementation documentation, integration inventories, data flow diagrams, release readiness documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Contribute to technical delivery standards and best practices.
- Ensure documentation remains accurate, current, and reusable.
- Act as primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
- Communicate technical impacts, risks, and dependencies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive accountability across multiple teams without direct authority.
- Foster alignment among development, QA, infrastructure, product, and operational teams.
Requirements
- 3- 5+ years of Technical Project Management, Technical Program Management, Solutions Delivery, or related experience.
- Experience managing software development and system integration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, Agile delivery practices, and release management processes.
- Experience working with APIs, file integrations, databases, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical dependencies across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- BE degree.
