Snowflake Data Engineer
We are seeking a seasoned Snowflake Developer with a strong background in data engineering and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL stored procedures, and Python, along with a solid understanding of data integration tools and platforms. This role involves documentation (creating design documents) and coding for data pipelines, stored procedures, and Python scripts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake and Python (preferably Snowpark).
- Write and optimize complex Python & SQL queries in stored procedures for data transformation and reporting.
- Integrate data from various sources including SFTP, AWS S3, and Excel files.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and configuration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.
- Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing via Confluence and JIRA.
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, data sharing, etc.).
- Expertise in Python & SQL for data processing and automation.
- Expertise in writing and optimizing Python and SQL stored procedures.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot configuration and data pipeline issues effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- BE in relevant field.
