Senior Systems Engineer - Automation Selenium

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Testing, Java, and Test Automation Framework Development. The ideal candidate should have experience in automating web applications, executing test suites, defect identification, and collaborating with development teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Design and enhance automation frameworks
• Perform sanity, integration, functional, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze business requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data using AI tools
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in automation script reviews and contribute to continuous framework improvements.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
• Troubleshoot test failures and work with development teams for timely resolution.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Good understanding of TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Experience in framework development using Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, or Hybrid Frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience creating and executing automation test scripts for web applications.
• Good knowledge of XPath, CSS Selectors, and dynamic object handling.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
• Experience using JIRA or other defect management tools.
• Exposure to Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
