Role: Consultant / Senior Analyst – Healthcare Analytics & Advanced Analytics
Work Experience: 4-7 years
Work Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid
Must-Have Skills
- Python (strong hands-on proficiency); SAS or R is an advantage
- SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Advanced Analytics and applied ML
- Healthcare consulting experience, with demonstrated Pharma/Life Sciences domain expertise
- Working knowledge of healthcare data sources, such as patient-level data (claims, EMR/EHR, Rx) and IQVIA MIDAS
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
Good-to-Have Skills
- HCP / Pharmacy / Hospital segmentation and targeting
- Commercial analytics (promotional ROI, sales force effectiveness, forecasting)
- Data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI
- Experience developing and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions on the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, Hadoop)
- Exposure to Generative AI
Principal Accountabilities
- Build a strong understanding of consumer offerings, proprietary databases and analytical approaches to guide and support client-facing stakeholders globally.
- Handle small and large datasets efficiently, choosing the right technology for processing (Python, R, SAS, SQL, etc.), and act as a champion for analytics technologies within the team.
- Deliver healthcare consulting projects such as:
- Segmentation and targeting of pharmacies, physicians and hospitals
- Promotional return (ROI) analysis
- Resource and price optimization
- Commercial analytics using patient-level and market-level datasets (e.g., MIDAS)
- Apply advanced analytics and ML techniques, including linear and non-linear regression, hierarchical models, Bayesian methods, time series forecasting, RNN, CNN, LSTM and NLP.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders from a business point of view.
- Support the development of data science and advanced analytics proposals, present them to leadership, and lead discussions on the feasibility of AI/ML solutions for business processes and outcomes.
- Ensure efficient and effective project delivery that meets team and client expectations.
Specialized Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Python, with SQL and SAS/R as advantages, plus MS Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory)
- Ability to combine technical depth with healthcare domain knowledge to translate data into business insights
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals
- Highly motivated, eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a focus on technical aspects and the ability to produce usable documentation
