SAP IBP Consultant with Good Knowledge on Demand and Supply
We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Consultant to join our dynamic team at Sony India Software Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing SAP IBP solutions focused on demand and supply planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design solutions, and ensure effective deployment of SAP IBP functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) S&OP solutions to improve demand?supply alignment, executive decision-making, and cross-functional planning processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for demand and supply planning processes.
- Configure and customize SAP IBP solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into demand and supply operations.
- Conduct testing and validate the effectiveness of the implemented solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding of SAP IBP.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to SAP IBP functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP IBP features and best practices to ensure optimal usage.
Requirements
- Strong S&OP / IBP business process knowledge.
- Demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization concepts.
- Scenario planning and executive dashboard design.
- IBP configuration (planning areas, key figures, operators).
- Excel planning views & analytics.
- Integration knowledge (CPI-DS, SDI, RTI or equivalent).
- Understanding of master data modeling.
- Strong knowledge of SAP IBP, specifically in demand and supply planning modules.
- Proficient in SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other related SAP tools.
- Experience with supply chain management concepts and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with integration between SAP IBP and other SAP modules like SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC is a plus.
