SAP BTP Admin with Hana
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SAP BTP Administrator to manage, govern, and optimize our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAP BTP Global Accounts, Directories, and Subaccounts (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and Neo environments as applicable).
- Implement and maintain platform security, including user provisioning, role collections, and trust configurations using SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and corporate IDPs (e.g., Azure AD).
- Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Connector to establish secure connections between on-premises systems (S/4HANA, ECC) and BTP services.
- Manage transport mechanisms across landscapes (Dev, QA, Prod) using SAP Cloud Transport Management Service (cTMS), SAP Cloud ALM, or gCTS.
- Monitor platform resource consumption, entitlements, quotas, and licensing to optimize BTP spending.
- Provision and configure SAP Integration Suite capabilities (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, Integration Assessment).
- Manage security artifacts, including keystores, certificates, SSH keys, PGP keys, and OAuth client credentials.
- Monitor Integration Flows (iFlows), JMS queues, message processing logs, and alert configurations.
- Administer the API Gateway, managing API policies.
- Manage Datasphere Spaces, including resource allocation (storage, memory) and user/role assignments.
- Set up and maintain data connections to SAP and non-SAP sources (using DP Agent, Cloud Connector, and SDA/SDI).
- Install, configure, and monitor the Data Provisioning Agent (DP Agent).
- Monitor data integration runs, replication tasks, and database resource consumption.
- Coordinate transport of Datasphere artifacts across landscapes.
- Administer the SAC tenant, managing licensing, user creation, custom roles, and folder structures.
- Configure and troubleshoot Live Data Connections and Import Data Connections to SAP Datasphere, S/4HANA, BW, and other sources.
- Set up Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0 with identity providers.
- Monitor system performance, user activity, and model sizes to ensure optimal dashboard response times.
- Manage Content Providers (federating content from S/4HANA, BTP, etc.) and configure launchpad destinations.
- Administer role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure users only see relevant applications and integration cards.
- Deploy and manage custom UI5 applications, integration cards, and shell plugins within the Work Zone portal.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis or SAP Cloud Administration, with at least 1 year dedicated specifically to SAP BTP Administration.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of SAP BTP architecture, Cloud Foundry, and subaccount structures.
- Proven experience configuring and maintaining the SAP Cloud Connector.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and standards: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSL/TLS, and Principal Propagation.
- Experience configuring SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Dynatrace, or SAP BTP Alert Notification service).
- Experience with DevOps pipelines in SAP BTP (CI/CD service, GitHub integration).
- Familiarity with SAP Build Process Automation or other low-code/no-code tools in the BTP portfolio.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across hybrid cloud landscapes.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
