Ruby on Rails Developer

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. This is a contract-based opportunity for a professional with 5?10+ years of experience to join our team in either Bangalore or Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Ruby on Rails applications.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Participate in requirement analysis, estimation, and sprint planning.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Support application modernization, framework upgrades, and technical debt reduction.

Requirements

• Education: BE / BTech / MTech / MCA / MSc.
• Core Skills: Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails (5.x/6.x/7.x).
• Database & APIs: Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, microservices architecture, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Tools & Infrastructure: Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Redis, and background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque).
• Engineering Principles: Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with React.js, Angular, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Work Arrangements

• Location: Bangalore (573281) or Hyderabad (573306).
• Employment Type: Contract.
