Senior Responsible AI / Model Risk Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Responsible AI / Model Risk Specialist with 8?12 years of experience in enterprise AI governance, model risk oversight, regulatory compliance, and ethical AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in enterprise-scale AI risk management, governance strategy, explainability frameworks, and regulatory engagement. This role involves leading AI governance initiatives to ensure that enterprise AI systems operate in a secure, ethical, transparent, and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise AI governance and model risk management programs.
- Define standards for explainability, fairness, accountability, and transparency.
- Establish model validation and governance frameworks.
- Oversee regulatory compliance for AI/ML systems.
- Conduct enterprise-wide AI risk assessments and audits.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, compliance, legal, and risk teams.
- Define AI documentation, auditability, and reporting standards.
- Lead governance for Generative AI and LLM-based systems.
- Recommend controls and remediation strategies for AI risks.
- Mentor teams on Responsible AI best practices and governance standards.
Requirements
- Mandatory Skills: Strong expertise in Model Risk Management, Responsible AI, AI Governance, and Regulatory Compliance.
- Experience with explainability frameworks, bias detection, fairness assessment, and model validation.
- Strong knowledge of SHAP, LIME, governance frameworks, and risk controls.
- Expertise in Python and SQL.
- Statistical analysis proficiency.
- Familiarity with MLOps, cloud AI platforms, and AI audit frameworks.
- Experience handling regulatory reviews, internal audits, and enterprise governance programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Generative AI governance, LLM risk frameworks, and AI compliance programs.
- Knowledge of EU AI Act, GDPR, SR 11-7, and Responsible AI standards.
- Exposure to enterprise risk management, ethical AI programs, and AI policy frameworks.
- Familiarity with Databricks, cloud AI governance tools, and data governance platforms.
- Experience in highly regulated industries is preferred.
