Quality Analyst
This contract position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and is ideal for experienced professionals in quality assurance. The role requires a strong background in software testing methodologies, automation, and data validation, with a focus on ensuring high-quality deliverables through advanced testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Utilize advanced PL/SQL queries for comprehensive data validation.
- Implement and maintain automated testing using tools such as Playwright, JMeter, or other performance testing tools.
- Conduct data migration testing, preferably utilizing specialized tools.
- Leverage AI-based testing platforms (e.g., Github Copilot, Claude) for generation and execution of test cases.
- Draft edge case scenarios and incorporate business expectations related to performance and scalability.
- Identify and address non-functional requirements, raising pertinent questions when requirements are incomplete.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in advanced PL/SQL querying for data validation; experience with SQL/PostGreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, JMeter, or similar performance testing tools.
- Experience with data migration testing, preferably with specialized tools.
- Familiarity with AI-based testing platforms (e.g., Github Copilot, Claude).
- Ability to draft edge case scenarios and embed business expectations for performance and scalability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with Qualys automation (required skill).
