This full-time position is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. As a QA Automation Tester (SDET), you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining software to test products, with a focus on firmware and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and expertise in automation frameworks and object-oriented programming. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency in testing smart products and IoT devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies for firmware and mobile applications to meet project requirements.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using languages such as Groovy, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
• Implement and maintain test frameworks for automation.
• Drive automation efficiencies and improve coverage effectiveness using various automation framework tools and techniques.
• Utilize hardware-in-the-loop or similar setups for integrated testing of firmware and hardware components.
• Review development code to build effective automation suites covering technical and business integration.
• Perform exploratory testing and develop automation scripts.
• Collaborate with QA teams, developers, product owners, DevOps, and other technical teams for planning and coordination.
• Ensure testing aligns with project goals and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (BTech, BE).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in IoT device and edge connectivity with cloud backend.
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
• Experience in automating test cases using Groovy, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop setups for integrated testing.
• Knowledge of firmware and cloud services.
• Testing experience in Smart Products and IoT domains.
• Familiarity with mobile and web automation.
• Experience with IoT protocols such as gRPC, HTTPS, TCP/IP.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
