Planning Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Planning Engineer to join our Project Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EPC project planning and mechanical fabrication, with experience in developing and maintaining project schedules. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Project Plans/Schedules
- Develop Schedule at various levels (L1-L5)
- Maintain and analyze Project Schedule
- Resource loading in schedule
- Extract profiles/reports from Schedule
- Produce look-ahead plans and activity monitoring
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in managing Plans/Schedules
- Conduct critical paths and activity analysis
- Exposure to schedule risk assessments
- Analyze potential risks in construction sequencing, procurement delays, and manpower shortages
- Integrate planning with installation timeline for mechanical and structural works
Requirements
- Education: Graduate in Engineering (B.E) with 4+ years of experience or Diploma in Engineering with 6+ years of experience in Planning/Project Controls
- Domain experience in Manufacturing/Fabrication/EPC Planning, preferably in Mechanical/Production/Electrical Engineering
- Good knowledge in EPC Project Planning and integrated schedule management
- Hands-on skills in Primavera P6 and MS Project software
- Good communication skills and a team player in driving project deliverables
- Project progress reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Good presentation skills and an enthusiastic attitude
