Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to ensure a highly available network that meets business objectives and SLAs. The role involves troubleshooting, documentation, and remediation of technical problems, as well as developing disaster recovery plans for network emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a highly available network that meets business objectives and SLAs.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical problems and responsible for RCA, documentation, and remediation.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, VPC.
• Evaluate critical business activities via analysis and determine specification of scope and impact of danger - GAP analysis.
• Develop a backup/disaster recovery plan for network emergencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems, evaluate LAN and WAN functionality to administer all shortcomings.
• Demonstrate flexibility including shift and out of hours working.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Interact across multiple teams within IT and business areas.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly dashboard reporting, vendor management, support change, and capacity planning.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPNs (IPSec and Remote access) on firewalls.
• Analyze and dissect advanced attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures to inform adjustments to the control plane.
• Experience with DDoS mitigation solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in OSPF/BGP Protocols.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Routing, Switching, Firewall (ASA, Palo Alto, Sophos & Fortigate), Load balancer (Array), Web Application Firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, Cisco Nexus, DDoS, Cloud (AWS, Azure, private cloud).
• Education: Degree required.

• Full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
