Network and Security Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Network and Security Administrator with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in routing, switching, and firewall technologies, and will be responsible for managing network operations and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in Routing (BGP & OSPF), switching, MPLS, firewall, and load-balancing technology.
- Utilize Wireshark for packet capture analysis and troubleshooting.
- Manage and troubleshoot major incidents and oversee all change requests.
- Ensure documentation, Runbooks, OPDs, and SOPs for all network-related operations are maintained.
- Manage network inventory and performance metrics.
- Implement network devices and firewalls effectively.
- Provide required metrics and reporting on network performance.
- Act as Shift Lead, implementing scheduled activities during the shift.
- Utilize network management and monitoring tools such as ZOHO – OpManager, Net-flow Analyzer, Event Log Analyzer, Network Configuration Manager, and Firewall Analyzer.
- Engage with customers face-to-face to resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, OEMs, and product suppliers to address complex issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot IPSEC VPNs.
- Follow customer approval processes for all network and security activities.
- Possess extensive knowledge of handling data center environments.
- Ensure firewall rule compliance, configuration compliance, rule optimization, and recertification.
