Manual Tester
We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Tester to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes. This is a full-time, hybrid role with a contract duration of 6 months or more.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts testing of highly complex software applications under general supervision.
- Reviews requirements, creates test plans, and contributes to test estimations, manual and automation planning.
- Performs test case planning, authoring, and execution on planned releases.
- Supports and performs test iterations, defect tracking, and reports test results, coordinating with the team.
- Works closely with developers, test leads/managers, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modifying software.
- Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Coordinates with development teams in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Regularly documents, tracks, and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Seeks necessary managerial support to discuss/flag risks and mitigation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor?s or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Clinical Information Management, or equivalent qualifications.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in manual testing.
- Experience with manual testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with IRT, eCOA, or medical device testing.
- Experience with UAT.
- Good hands-on experience in Oracle/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with HP ALM, JIRA, SynapseRT.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC processes.
- Strong understanding of defect lifecycle.
- Good to have automation exposure/experience.
- SDTM standard knowledge is desirable.
- Good understanding of Clinical Data Management.
Work Arrangements
- Hybrid work arrangement, with onsite interviews as part of the 2-round interview process (1 virtual + 1 onsite).
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
- Billing Hours: 187 hours/month.
- Contract Duration: 6 months or more.
- Onboarding: After August mid-week.
