Junior IT Recruiter - Bangalore
Bootminds is seeking a motivated and energetic Junior IT Recruiter to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition for technology roles across our Global Capability Center (GCC) and Global In-house Center (GIC) client portfolio, serving Fortune 500 companies and global enterprises expanding into India. This position is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who are passionate about people, technology, and global business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a sales-driven mindset and a strong customer service attitude, capable of pitching opportunities persuasively to candidates and building lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle ? from job briefing and sourcing to offer rollout and onboarding coordination.
- Source potential candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster), social media, and internal databases.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on technical and role-specific requirements.
- Conduct initial telephonic/video screening interviews to assess candidate fitment.
- Pitch job opportunities to passive and active candidates in a compelling, consultative manner.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers or clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to candidates, guiding them through the hiring process and ensuring a white-glove experience.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT talent across domains such as software development, QA, data, cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with candidates to build a warm talent network for ongoing GCC hiring.
- Understand global client hiring needs deeply and position Bootminds as the preferred GCC talent partner.
- Maintain candidate data accurately in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment trackers.
- Handle candidate objections, negotiate offers, and close placements with a consultative approach.
- Achieve weekly and monthly recruitment targets ? submissions, interviews, and closures.
- Stay updated on IT market trends, emerging tech skills, and competitive talent landscape.
- Support employer branding initiatives and participate in job fairs or campus drives when required.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (BCA, B.E, B.Tech, BBA, MBA, or equivalent).
- Experience: 0?2 years in IT recruitment, HR, sales, or a related role (freshers with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply).
- Sales-oriented mindset ? ability to pitch, persuade, and close with confidence and empathy.
- Strong customer service attitude ? responsive, solution-focused, and committed to delivering a positive experience.
- Good understanding of IT roles, technologies, and job market trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Ability to handle objections gracefully and negotiate outcomes that work for all parties.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a candidate-first mindset.
- Familiarity with job portals: Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Shine, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and G-Suite tools.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and a solution-oriented attitude.
