GKE Engineer

We are looking for a Google Kubernetes Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Google Kubernetes Engineer (GKE) and CMC (Customer Managed Cloud) to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available containerized applications on GCP/CMC.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on GKE (Standard and/or Autopilot)
• Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Manage Kubernetes resources such as Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance, availability, and cost
• Implement security best practices including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, and cloud teams to support cloud-native workloads

Requirements

• Primary:
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Kubernetes administration and operations
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Secondary:
• Docker and containerization
• CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Kubernetes monitoring and logging (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, etc.)
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with Helm
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and service mesh concepts
• Experience supporting production workloads in enterprise environments
