Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in embedded software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with various microcontrollers and methodologies, as well as a passion for developing innovative automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using C for 16/32-bit microcontrollers such as S32, Aurix, Renesas, and Cypress.
• Implement Autosar methodologies including MCAL, BSW, and RTE.
• Develop device drivers and ensure effective communication protocols (CAN/LIN).
• Utilize cross compilers, debuggers, and emulators for software development.
• Work with Power Mode, UDS, Diagnostics, Bootloader, and related tools like CANalyzer and CANoe.
• Conduct verification using static analysis tools and unit testing tools.
• Debug software issues effectively and efficiently.
• Handle measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, current probes, and signal generators.
• Adhere to automotive standard processes, specifically ASPICE.
• Understand functional safety principles as per ISO 26262.

Requirements

• B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
• Proficient in embedded software development using C.
• Experience with Autosar methodologies and workflows.
• Strong debugging skills and experience with measurement tools.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.

Work Arrangements

• Full-time position based at Aptiv TCI, Bengaluru.
