DevOps Engineer : Bangalore (Hybrid)
This is a critical hiring need for a DevOps Engineer in Bangalore, with a preference for immediate joiners or candidates with a very short notice period. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skill set, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and completely
- Document solutions and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders

Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech. degree in a relevant field
- Proficient with Linux, including related IT environment
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. Python, shell)
- Proficient with servlet containers such as Tomcat
- Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with Docker
- Ability to solve complex problems quickly and completely, and document solutions
- Experience with user support
- Good communication skills, with good written and spoken English
Work Arrangements
- Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and office work in Bangalore

Technical Competencies
- Most important: Proficient with various software package managers (e.g. rpm, war, docker, npm, ?)
- Proficient reading, understanding, and troubleshooting Java applications/JVM (threadumps, heapdumps, etc)
- Proficient with SQL and some DBA experience (MySQL, Postgres)
- Required: Proficient with Linux, automation and scripting, servlet containers, Web Services, Docker, and user support
- Assets: Experienced with binary management systems (Artifactory, Nexus), automated deployment framework (e.g. Ansible), source versioning (GIT), unit testing (jUnit), and Agile development methodology (Scrum, Scaled agile, Kanban)
