DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at E Infochips Private Limited, contracted through Cadmaxx Solutions Pvt Ltd. This role requires a strong background in designing, operating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automation and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of build systems and experience in leading configuration management and release activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines ensuring deep knowledge of static code analysis and embedded builds.
• Understand the build system and ensure prompt support and automation in the build system.
• Lead triage and remediation discussions with developers and automate coding/SAST guidelines.
• Support local Coverity analysis and automate reporting using Python/Shell/Groovy.
• Lead Configuration Management, Build, and Release activities.
• Define and enforce source code structure, branching, baseline, and release strategies.
• Improve CI/build reliability using Docker-based build environments and automation.
• Work with QA on code quality tools, reports, and audits.
• Collaborate with Architects, Validation, IT, and global CM teams.
• Own CM documentation and provide DevOps/CM consultation.
• Own Coverity SAST (Black Duck preferred); analyze defects, severity, code flow, and false positives.

Requirements

• Education: Any degree
• Experience: 5+ years in DevOps engineering
• Required Skills:
• CI/CD: Jenkins (mandatory)
• Containerization: Docker (build, CI integration, isolated toolchains)
• DevOps tools: Git, artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus/Artifactory), CI agents, build nodes
• Scripting: Python, Bash/Shell, Groovy
• Build systems: CMake (must have), GNU Make; C/C++ product builds
• Ability to read and understand C/C++ code (embedded experience is a plus)
• Solid understanding of SDLC, CM, and release processes
• Good experience with Coverity or similar SAST tools (QAC, Polyspace, SonarQube)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
