DevOps Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Developer with strong expertise in InstallShield, WiX, and software packaging/installer technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. This role requires collaboration with development, QA, and release teams to build, maintain, and optimize deployment pipelines, installer frameworks, and release processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain installer packages using InstallShield, WiX, and related technologies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Automate software packaging, deployment, and release workflows.
• Evaluate and recommend modern installer and deployment technologies.
• Lead migration initiatives from InstallShield to alternative installer platforms where applicable.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve build and release efficiency.
• Troubleshoot build, packaging, deployment, and environment-related issues.
• Ensure release processes follow security, compliance, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps development.
• Strong expertise in InstallShield, WiX, and software packaging/installer technologies.
• Hands-on experience in automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle through CI/CD practices.
• Strong knowledge of modern DevOps practices and advanced DevOps tools.
• Experience evaluating and migrating installer solutions from InstallShield to alternative packaging technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and evaluate new tools and technologies quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
