Development Lead - C++

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Lead with expertise in C++ to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience working on Telco-grade products, with hands-on experience in designing and developing Bare Metal and Cloud Native Microservices applications. The successful candidate will utilize their knowledge of Containers and Virtualization Technologies to drive innovation and quality in our software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute towards all aspects of software life cycle management in Nokia SBC / Nokia TAS including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and code reviews, ensuring timely delivery with quality.
• Analyze critical issues found in customer deployments in detail, identify the root cause, and provide solutions with optimal quality.
• Drive Nokia SBC / Nokia TAS architecture evolution and introduce design/architecture optimizations as required.
• Engage in discussions with customers to understand their requirements, concerns, and identify optimal solutions.
• Participate in process reviews/inspections, workshops, task forces, and research groups related to Core technologies.
• Work effectively in a mixed environment and utilize best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
• Apply and maintain quality standards, participate in process and tools evolutions, and identify improvements therein.
• Mentor junior team members and help them realize their full potential.

Requirements

• 4-10 years of experience with Telco-grade products.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing Bare Metal and Cloud Native Microservices applications.
• Proficient in C & C++ programming.
• Good working knowledge in CI/CD DevOps and CI automation tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with MMTEL standards including GSMA IR.92, IR.94, IR.51.
• Good working knowledge in VOLTE/IMS, SIP in 4G/5G core technologies.
• Knowledge of Nokia Telco products CFX-5000, NTAS, Nokia SBC is a plus.
• Strong team player with proven ability to work in a diverse team environment.
