Description:
Senior Data Engineer
• Define the end-to-end CRM Data architecture, including integrations, data migration, and system landscape.
• Assess and document data migration approach from Enablon, including data quality, mapping, and migration strategy.
• Define integration architecture for internal client systems.
• Produce key technical design artifacts, architecture diagrams, and technical design documentation.
• Identify technical dependencies, risks, assumptions, and mitigation plans.
• Provide technical input into project planning, estimates, and delivery approach.
• Lead technical workshops and discussions with vendors, SMEs, and project stakeholders.
• Support requirement refinement to ensure technical feasibility and solution alignment.
• Partner with the Technical Lead to drive technical direction and execution readiness.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop solutions for data ingestion, transformation, integration, and processing.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple source systems.
• Build and optimize data models and datasets for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and availability.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Work with cloud-based data services and storage platforms.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Follow engineering standards, security guidelines, and CI/CD practices.
Must-Have Skills
• Strong SQL skills.
• Good programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with data processing technologies such as Spark / PySpark.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data lake concepts.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
