Node.js & GraphQL Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in Node.js and GraphQL to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, or Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and GraphQL.
• Design and implement APIs with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Solid, practical experience with GraphQL (Apollo/Federation/DataLoader).
• Experience with relational/non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Strong understanding of API design, microservices, and RESTful principles.
• Experience with unit testing (Jest/Mocha), Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of API security, performance, and scalability.
• Degree in a relevant field.
