Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows. The successful candidate will build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts, and develop solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud-native data services. The role requires collaboration with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions, ensuring data quality, governance, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts
• Develop solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud-native data services
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Azure Data Factory/Airflow
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and big data concepts
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Agile delivery
• Degree in a relevant field
• 5-8 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking/Financial Services/Insurance domain experience
• Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines and GenAI solutions
• Azure certifications, data and AI certifications
