We are seeking a skilled Wintel Server Administrator with 8-15 years of experience in the IT Software industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies and a proactive approach to managing server operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for OS deployment (OSD), imaging, and task sequences.
• Patch management and software deployment.
• Endpoint configuration, compliance, and reporting.
• Application packaging and distribution.
• Management of Windows patch management lifecycle, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting.
• Administration of Active Directory, user/group policies, OU structure, and GPO hardening.
• Experience in managing virtualized environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi and Nutanix AHV, including VM provisioning, resource allocation, and cluster operations.
• Basic exposure to backup and recovery concepts using enterprise tools like Commvault.
• Data Centre operational activities such as VM creation, OS installation, configuration, system hardening, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshooting Windows server performance issues, event log analysis, and service failures.
• Monitoring infrastructure alerts, incident handling, and root cause analysis.
• Documentation of SOPs, build documents, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field.
• 8-15 years of experience in Wintel Server Administration.
