Test Analyst

Test Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business/functional requirements and preparing detailed test cases. The role involves manual testing, including functional, regression, and usability testing, as well as cross-browser testing on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. The candidate will also conduct tests on real devices or emulators for Android/iOS apps, validate NBFC workflows, and participate in Agile ceremonies. Additionally, the Test Analyst will log, track, and verify defects until closure, maintain test documentation, and contribute to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business/functional requirements and prepare detailed test cases.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and usability testing.
• Conduct cross-browser testing on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.
• Execute tests on real devices or emulators for Android/iOS apps.
• Validate NBFC workflows such as loan origination, repayment, customer onboarding, KYC steps, statements, and notifications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Log, track, and verify defects until closure.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to process improvement.
• Collaborate closely with developers and BA teams to ensure clarity on requirements and faster defect resolution.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Manual Testing, STLC, SDLC, and Agile practices.
• Hands-on experience in mobile testing (Android/iOS).
• Experience in NBFC or financial domain testing (loan journeys, EMI, KYC flows, repayments, etc.).
• Basic exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Appium (added advantage).
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
