System Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Xstore POS Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in supporting and maintaining retail Point-of-Sale (POS) environments. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore POS (V21 and V25), along with skills in production support, troubleshooting, incident management, system upgrades, and integrations with retail payment and tax refund platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Xstore POS applications across production and pre-production environments.
• Perform log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) for POS-related issues.
• Support Oracle Xstore POS version upgrades, patches, and regression validation activities.
• Monitor and manage POS ecosystem health using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and TSE job monitoring.
• Analyze application, system, and database logs to identify and resolve incidents proactively.
• Coordinate with business users, vendors, and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management activities following ITIL processes.
• Support integrations with payment and retail systems including Adyen and Global Blue.
• Work with SailPoint for access management and user provisioning activities.
• Utilize SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Support and maintain EDGE and Xcenter applications within the retail ecosystem.
• Prepare RCA documents and provide recommendations for process and system improvements.
• Participate in release validation, deployment support, and post-implementation monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of techno-functional experience with Oracle Xstore POS (Version 21 and/or Version 25).
• 6+ years of overall experience supporting POS applications in retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Xstore architecture and retail POS operations.
• Hands-on experience with: Splunk, Datadog, SQL, TSE Job Monitoring, EDGE, Xcenter, SailPoint.
• Experience with payment gateway and retail integrations: Adyen, Global Blue.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and log analysis skills.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with release management, regression testing, and upgrade support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.
