Shared Services Finance Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Shared Services Finance Manager to lead the Finance Shared Services tower of the GCC in Chennai. This role is responsible for delivering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Insurance, and Tax services for Algihaz Group entities in KSA and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Operate the Finance Shared Services Tower
- Stand up a ~15-person finance operations team across AP, AR, Payroll, Insurance, and Tax from day zero
- Define service catalogue, SLAs, TATs, RACI, and escalation matrix with the Finance
- Author SOPs, process maps, DTPs, and control matrices for each sub-function
- Partner with the GCC Head on operating plan, headcount budget, and cost-to-serve targets
- Own end-to-end P2P and O2C cycles across the entities
- Drive AP touchless automation, 3-way match discipline, and payment-on-time metrics
- Establish AR collection governance, DSO reduction programmes, and credit control
- Ensure clean month-end close from AP/AR perspective with zero material reconciling items
- Execute India and KSA payroll accurately and on schedule in coordination with HR Shared Services and local payroll partners in KSA
- Administer group insurance programmes and drive renewals
- Ensure full direct and indirect tax compliance
- Support statutory, tax, and internal audits for all Group entities in scope
- Own the finance ERP/shared services platform for the GCC; partner with IT on integrations
- Implement SOX-equivalent internal controls and segregation of duties
- Deliver monthly operational and management reporting packs to the GCC Head and Group CFO
- Contribute to monthly close, flux analysis, and variance commentary
- Ensure compliance for the GCC's cross-border billing
- Primary finance interface to Algihaz Group CFO, KSA Finance leadership
- Represent the GCC in finance governance reviews, MSA governance forums, and board reviews
Requirements
- CA (ICAI) or CPA; MBA (Finance) optional but valued
- 12?18 years of finance experience with at least 5 years leading a finance shared services/GBS tower (AP, AR, Payroll, Tax)
- Demonstrated experience migrating finance processes from a parent entity into a GCC/captive
- Strong working knowledge of Indian direct & indirect tax, FEMA, transfer pricing, and cross-border treasury
- Hands-on experience with enterprise ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and AP automation platforms
- Prior experience in a GCC/GBS for a Middle East/Saudi parent organization (preferred)
- Exposure to engineering, EPC, oil & gas, or construction industry finance (preferred)
- Familiarity with Tamil Nadu GCC Policy 2023, TIDCO, and DIC processes (preferred)
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent process improvement credentials (preferred)
