We are seeking a skilled Service Support Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive techno-commercial proposals for service and solution projects within the Measurement & Analytics domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and a passion for providing exceptional service solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed service proposals based on RFQs, site survey reports, and customer specifications/part numbers.
• Clarify and define the scope of work, assumptions, exclusions, deliverables, warranties, and schedule for field instrumentation products/solutions.
• Support the local Service organization and customers in defining suitable service solutions for existing instrumentation installations.
• Work with Service teams to define solution projects such as loop control and migration of obsolete instruments.
• Build Full Cost Model for each proposal, covering material, buyouts, service man-hours, travel & stay, tools & tackles, logistics, contingencies, and risk provisions.
• Provide inputs to the risk review/approval process, highlighting execution, technical, and commercial risks.
• Analyze customer needs, installed-base data, and competitor activities to support proposal development.
• Conduct win-loss analysis for key bids and recommend corrective actions to improve future hit-rate.
• Use and maintain proposal & sales tools such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and pricing/configuration tools.
• Coordinate with Service Manager, Field Service, Project Execution, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth handover of awarded orders.

Requirements

• B.E/B. Tech/Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication.
• Theoretical knowledge of methods and technologies in Measurements, Transducers, Instrumentation Buses, and Industrial Data Networks.
• 2?5 years of experience in technical sales support in a similar domain.
• Proficiency in tools like SAP, CRM systems, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure, self-management, and willingness to self-learn.
