Supply Chain Management Specialist

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting procurement operations, supplier coordination, and procurement documentation activities. This position involves close collaboration with the Senior SCM Specialist to ensure efficient procurement execution, effective supplier communication, and timely material delivery for engineering and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Support: Assist in RFQ preparation, bid documentation, and vendor communication; support bid evaluation and preparation of commercial comparison sheets; coordinate procurement documentation including purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for quotation submissions, clarifications, and delivery schedules; track vendor responses and maintain supplier communication records; support vendor onboarding and supplier database maintenance.
  • Procurement Documentation & Compliance: Maintain procurement records including contracts, quotations, and evaluation documents; ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and procurement procedures; support preparation of procurement reports and documentation for audits.
  • Logistics & Delivery Monitoring: Track material delivery schedules and supplier commitments; coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services; assist in resolving procurement and delivery issues with vendors.
  • ERP & Procurement Systems: Update procurement transactions in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / equivalent); maintain procurement tracking dashboards and supplier performance records.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP procurement systems (SAP / Oracle / equivalent); experience with procurement tracking dashboards; strong documentation and coordination skills.
  • Standards: Knowledge of internal procurement policies and procedures; familiarity with audit compliance and documentation standards.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience supporting engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in EPC or project-based procurement environments; familiarity with technical procurement and vendor management processes.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams, and capability to manage multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.
