SCM Oracle Functional Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SCM Oracle Functional Consultant to join our Information Technology division in Chennai, India. This full-time role requires a professional with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion modules, particularly in self-service procurement and purchasing. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring functional and technical alignment, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end implementation projects, rollouts, and day-to-day support issues.
- Handle complete self-service procurement and procurement cycles in Oracle Fusion modules.
- Drive successful project execution by managing scope, timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with implementation teams for functional and technical alignment.
- Develop, manage, and monitor SLAs and KPIs.
- Resolve complex system or process issues with innovative solutions.
- Coordinate resolution of service requests with Oracle and internal teams.
- Evaluate and implement new features in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Lead workshops and solution design sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Define, document, and manage project deliverables.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to enhance system utilization.
- Collaborate with development teams for customized reports and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion self-service procurement and purchasing.
- Professional certification in Oracle Fusion Cloud Self-service procurement/Procurement module.
- Strong/Expert level experience in Oracle Fusion modules: Self Service Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory.
- Good implementation experience/exposure in modules: Maintenance, Sourcing, Supplier Portal/Qualification, Costing, Procurement contracts, Manufacturing, Product data hub.
- Oracle Fusion technical areas experience: OTBI, Data Load, Security, Workflow.
- Handled all ERP lifecycle phases: analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Strong understanding of procurement life cycle module and integration with other Oracle Fusion process areas.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in designing transaction flows and integration with various modules.
- Development of reports through OTBI and interface experience using OCI/OIC.
- Ability to manage priorities, team handling, reporting, and drive continuous improvement.
