SAP BI / BW Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP BI / BW Consultant to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing Nordex's global business processes using a state-of-the-art ERP S/4 HANA system landscape. You will work closely with process owners, implementation partners, and IT vendors to design, implement, and continuously improve our BI environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions in coordination with process owners and IT vendors.
• Support Nordex in mastering challenges in our BI environment, including SAP BW, SAC, BW/4, and data warehousing.
• Lead projects or work streams, coordinating with external implementation partners and managing internal stakeholders.
• Enhance your industry, functional, and SAP knowledge continuously.
• Configure and use SAP extractors for data acquisition from SAP source systems.
• Work with CDS views for data modeling and integration with BW and reporting tools.
• Design and develop data models (InfoProviders, ADSOs, CompositeProviders) to meet business requirements.
• Implement ETL processes ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Develop queries and reports using BEx Query Designer and Analysis for Office.
• Integrate BW with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for advanced analytics and planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver optimized solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to data extraction, modeling, and reporting.
• Document technical solutions and best practices for future reference.
• Stay updated on SAP BI/BW, Datasphere, and SAC innovations to improve the reporting landscape.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an SAP consultant in an international work environment.
• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable education/qualification.
• Process and functional skills in S/4 HANA (or SAP ERP), including relevant modules such as Business Intelligence, SAP BW, SAC, BW/4, data warehousing, SAP group reporting, SEM BCS, SAP Datasphere.
• Strong knowledge in SAP BW on HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud reporting tools.
• Exposure to S/4 HANA and ECC.
• General understanding of SCM, MM, SD, PP, and FI/CO.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Flexibility to take up different tasks within the team.
