Project Lead

The Project Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of ICT infrastructure and solution projects, ensuring completion within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards in alignment with client and organizational expectations. This contract-based role, located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, requires a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience and a graduation in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. The Project Lead will manage multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and customers, while ensuring adherence to organizational and industry standards. Candidates with strong knowledge of Active Networking, Structured Cabling (SCS), and ELV systems are preferred. Familiarity with EIA/TIA 568 Cabling Standards, AutoCAD layout drawings, and hands-on experience in cable termination and testing equipment are essential. PMP certification and OEM certifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, deliverables, and objectives in alignment with client and organizational goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations using project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies; create mitigation and contingency plans.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver ICT solutions, including SCS (Structured cabling), ELV systems, network infrastructure, AV, telephony, and server-storage-virtualization.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance metrics, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage project documentation including charters, schedules, status reports, and acceptance sign-offs.
• Act as the single point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings and provide status updates.
• Ensure proactive communication and effective escalation handling to avoid project delays.
• Estimate, allocate, and manage project resources efficiently.
• Ensure execution follows defined quality standards, safety norms, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct quality checks and acceptance tests with clients.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and closure reports for audits and learnings.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in ICT infrastructure project delivery.
• Graduation in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field (BE/Diploma).
• Strong understanding of Active Networking technologies, structured cabling standards, and ELV solutions.
• Knowledge of EIA/TIA 568 Cabling Standards.
• Ability to read and verify AutoCAD layout drawings and prepare red-line drawings.
• Experience in conducting site surveys, preparing and verifying BOQs.
• Hands-on experience in termination of Cat6, Cat6A modules.
• Experience with testing equipment, downloading test results, analyzing reports, and preparing documentation.
• Ability to conduct quality audits of cable installation, termination, dressing, and labeling.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and email).
• Knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, ACS, BMS.
• Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
• OEM certifications preferred.
