Power BI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team at Joyson Safety Systems in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Intelligence tools, particularly Power BI, and will be responsible for designing and developing BI applications that meet user requirements. This is a contract position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop BI tools and applications using Power BI.
• Manage Power BI Premium capacity effectively.
• Conduct comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design, applying knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling.
• Work with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses, including Oracle 9i, MS SQL Server, Crystal, and SAP.
• Utilize Business Objects tools such as Scheduler, Designer, Data Integrator, and BO Universe design.
• Implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications.
• Oversee the full project management and development life cycle.
• Design and manage database applications, ensuring optimal performance.
• Apply technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems.
• Utilize data processing flowcharting techniques to document processes.
• Understand and align with the organization?s goals and objectives.
• Adhere to applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI tools, specifically Power BI.
• Strong experience in Power BI Premium capacity management.
• Proficient in data warehouse analysis and design.
• Experience with tier-one applications and databases.
• Expertise in Business Objects tools.
• Strong understanding of relational database structures and principles.
• Full project management and development life cycle experience.
• In-depth technical knowledge of network and operating systems.
• Good knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
