We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our team at the National Informatics Centre Services Inc. This role requires a minimum of 7 years of IT experience, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL database management. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Systems, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and proactive monitoring of PostgreSQL databases.
• Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of IT experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• PostgreSQL DBA Certification.
