Senior Techno-Functional Consultant - SAP MDG
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Techno-Functional Consultant with extensive experience in SAP Master Data Management and Governance (MDG). The ideal candidate will possess strong techno-functional capabilities and a deep understanding of the MDG architecture. You will be responsible for setting up data models, configuring workflows, defining data validation rules, and establishing data governance processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Min 7+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management & Governance area.
- Minimum 3 end-to-end implementations of SAP MDG in material, customer, vendor, and finance master data models.
- Individually handle code changes in classes, methods, and BADI enhancements.
- Set up data models, configure workflows, and define data validation rules.
- Establish data governance processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, process modeling, and UI modeling.
- Hands-on experience in setting up replication processes.
- Analyze requirements, design, develop, and implement Enterprise Master Data solutions using SAP MDG.
- Work on integration of MDG with other components of the SAP enterprise information management stack and external systems.
- Execute data model enhancements, functional validation, and BRF & UI enhancements.
- Conduct pre-feasibility/feasibility studies by interacting with business teams to understand underlying business requirements.
- Advise clients and project teams on different solution approaches and recommend the best technical solutions.
- Define technical strategy and best practices for master data governance in a Global ERP deployment program.
- Review technical design and development of master data-related interfaces, enhancements, load programs, reports, and workflows in MDG & S/4 systems.
- Provide strategies for integration between different SAP (S/4, MDG) and non-SAP systems to ensure master data integrity.
- Create, manage, and implement changes using the change control process and ensure quality compliance (SOX).
- Prepare proof of concept for new functional requirements and demonstrate to business teams.
- Support system upgrade and performance improvement activities.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing medium-scale projects within the SAP MDG domain.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE).
- Mandatory Skills: MDG, Techno-Functional, Functional Consultant, ABAP on HANA.
- Certification: SAP MDG certification is a plus.
Work Arrangements
- Work Timing: 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM shift.
- Flexibility for extended hours and weekend work occasionally when project demands.
