To ensure that decisions are taken on a qualitative and consistent set of data, we are growing our global data management capabilities. The Master Data Specialist reports to the OpCo Master Data Services Chapter Lead and is responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring Master Data records in accordance with HEINEKEN process standards, data standards, policies, and objectives. This role is crucial to ensure that accurate and validated data is entered in the system for the assigned OpCos, achieving the agreed performance objectives and service levels while strictly complying with all standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains Master Data records in Global MDM tool and in various OpCos systems in accordance with HEINEKEN process standards, data standards, policies, and objectives.
• Ensures that Master Data requests are handled according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) using workflow tools and numerous supporting applications.
• Responds to queries from other counter partners via e-mail/telephone or any other means of communication available in alignment with service management processes.
• Raises concerns about Master Data quality, data governance, and related issues to the Team Leader.
• Monitors Master Data quality and actively fixes encountered or reported issues, monitors Ataccama tool to filter out and fix inconsistencies.
• Coordinates and actively supports business processes, projects, and requirements inside and outside the team, providing reports and data analysis.
• Actively looks for process improvement opportunities, participates in testing and implementation of new optimization solutions.
• Highlights any high workloads and potential bottlenecks to the team leader to ensure that SLA breaches do not occur.
• Organizes and assigns new organization structures, adds new users, removes leavers, assigns positions.
• Supports data cleansing initiatives, serves as data standards expert.
• Monitors mappings and replications from source system to CFIN.
• Acts as the escalation point for the most complex queries and the most sensitive stakeholders.
• Provides training on master data inside the team.
• Takes an active part in transitions of new scopes from OpCos.
• Creates and maintains SOPs and procedures.
• Acts as a buddy, trains new joiners, backs up all team scopes, and takes part in full scope rotation within the team.
• Closely cooperates with Local Data Stewards in cleansing activities and preparations for DBB transitions or any other data-related programs.
• Acts as a key user for all Master Data related topics and applications.
• Co-leads and assists in coordinating transitions of new scopes from other OpCos, playing the role of an expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in master data management, data governance, or a related role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of data management tools and technologies, such as SAP.
• Experience with reviewing and conducting data analysis.
• Highly proficient in MS Office.
• Able to work under pressure to meet business objectives.
• Understands benefits of correct and valid data.
• Analytical thinking, proactive, and overseeing.
• Experience of operating in large corporations is preferred.
