Java GCP Engineer

We are seeking a talented Java GCP Engineer with 7-9 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience in architecting and implementing microservices. This role requires a customer-focused individual with excellent analytical and communication skills, ready to work in a global delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure) and SDKs to architect microservices.
• Implement database solutions with a focus on indexing and PostgreSQL.
• Write database scripts using SQL (DDL and DML).
• Develop applications using Java/J2EE (versions 11/17/21), Spring Boot, GraphQL, REST, Apigee, and microservices.
• Architect and implement fault-tolerant, highly available microservices, and build applications in a Reactive Framework.
• Utilize testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG with mocking frameworks.
• Participate in Agile Scrum software development processes.
• Maintain strong customer focus throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to projects in the retail domain.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Requirements

• Education: BTech, BE, or BCom.
• Required Skills: Java, GCP, Database (DB), SQL, J2EE/Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
• Experience: 7+ years in relevant roles, preferably in the retail domain.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in a global delivery environment.
