Director ? Supply Chain COE & Digital Reinvention (GCC)

We are seeking a highly experienced Director to establish and lead the Supply Chain Management Center of Excellence (SCM COE) within Algihaz?s Global Capability Center (GCC). This role is pivotal in driving the enterprise reinvention of end-to-end Source-to-Pay, logistics, and supplier management through digitization and AI, creating scalable, standardized, and analytics-driven SCM capabilities that support EPC businesses globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the Supply Chain Management Center of Excellence (SCM COE) within Algihaz?s GCC.
  • Design and operationalize the SCM COE (hub-and-spoke) serving group EPC entities.
  • Own the SCM transformation roadmap aligned to the Enterprise Reinvention Strategy (ERS) and GCC maturity journey.
  • Partner with EPC business, Digital, IT, and Finance to shift SCM from transaction-execution to value-creation.
  • Define SCM service catalogue: sourcing, category management, expediting, logistics, P2P, analytics.
  • Establish Global Process Owner (GPO) model, governance, and quality standards.
  • Build and scale GCC-based SCM teams across foundation, core, and advanced pods.
  • Transition eligible SCM work from projects/sites to the GCC in phases.
  • Lead digitization of Source-to-Pay, supplier lifecycle, logistics tracking, and inventory planning.
  • Deploy AI/analytics use cases: spend intelligence, supplier risk, demand sensing, and delay prediction.
  • Standardize master data, workflows, and controls across EPC entities.
  • Partner with IT/Digital teams on ERP modernization, RPA, and control-tower dashboards.
  • Shift SCM outcomes from cost control to margin protection, schedule assurance, and cash impact.
  • Enable LC & Saudization compliance through digitized supplier and subcontractor governance.
  • Provide enterprise-level visibility on spend, risk, and material readiness.
  • Measure KPIs including touchless transaction rate, addressable spend under COE governance, procurement cost savings, supplier OTIF & risk score improvements, demand forecast accuracy, and SCM service adoption by EPC entities.

Requirements

  • Education: Engineering degree, Post-graduate degree.
  • Experience: 18?25+ years in EPC / Infrastructure SCM with strong transformation exposure.
  • Proven experience building Shared Services, COEs, or GCC-based SCM models.
  • Hands-on leadership in ERP, analytics, and digital SCM initiatives.
  • Ability to operate at Board, CXO, and business leadership level.
