DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to drive software quality, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices across development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and QA engineers to improve build reliability, automate testing, streamline deployments, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Improve software quality through automated testing, quality gates, static code analysis, and release validation.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing and quality checks into the software delivery lifecycle.
• Monitor pipeline health, deployment success rates, and system reliability metrics.
• Manage and optimize DevOps tooling for source control, build automation, artifact management, and deployment orchestration.
• Support release management activities including versioning, deployment approvals, rollback strategies, and production readiness.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies.
• Drive best practices for DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and test automation.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards in CI/CD workflows.
• Create documentation for pipelines, deployment procedures, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, release management, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar automation platforms.
• Proficiency with Git and modern source control workflows.
• Experience implementing automated testing strategies across unit, integration, contract, UI, and performance testing.
• Working knowledge of Pytest, JUnit, Pact Broker, Playwright, and Locust.
• Experience integrating code quality, security, and compliance checks using tools such as SonarQube, CodeQL, Checkmarx One, and Mend.
• Experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
• Experience using tools such as Kibana, Dynatrace, and OpenTelemetry for troubleshooting and operational insights.
• Knowledge of SAP CI/CD standards, deployment governance, and release automation practices including Hyperspace and Deploy With Confidence (DWC).
• Exposure to AI-assisted development and testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or LangChain for test generation, pipeline troubleshooting, and engineering productivity.
• Good to Have Skills:
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of performance testing, reliability engineering, and release quality metrics.
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts.
