Deputy ERP Manager
We are seeking an experienced Deputy ERP Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, complex Oracle Fusion ERP transformation projects across multiple business functions and industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle ERP implementation and management, with a focus on Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS. This role requires excellent stakeholder management, project leadership, and team development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver large-scale, complex Oracle Fusion ERP transformation projects (rollouts, change requests, support tickets, implementations, etc.) across multiple business functions and industries.
- Define ERP project scope, architecture, interfaces, and approach; manage project documentation, security roles and profiles, deliverables, resource plans, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure alignment between business stakeholders and ERP system functionalities through ongoing engagement and communication.
- Coordinate closely with senior executives to gain buy-in on ERP-related decisions and system changes.
- Organize and lead ERP pursuits, contributing to pricing strategies and managing service level agreements for all support tickets and change requests.
- Drive the development and enhancement of ERP practice methodologies, tools, industry best practices, and project documentation.
- Lead the ERP team and support third-party vendors, serving as a mentor and performance coach.
- Oversee ERP staffing strategies, including recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.
- Provide hands-on leadership and support to local and global ERP delivery teams.
- Manage ERP application configurations, documentation, and upgrades to support evolving business processes.
- Analyze ERP modules to identify enhancements, automation opportunities, and system optimizations.
- Define and implement procedures to resolve data integrity issues and ensure data consistency across platforms.
- Review and handle various change requests and requirements from business users.
- Maintain uniformity and common standards between various entities and business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of overall Oracle ERP implementation (Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS) and management experience, with at least 8 years in Oracle Fusion.
- ERP-related certifications (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS), Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent), ITSM/ITIL preferred.
- Deep knowledge of ERP platforms, particularly Oracle Fusion with Oracle EBS.
- Experience with multi-org setups and statutory requirements across multiple countries.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion process areas like Financials, Supply Chain, HR, Projects, etc.
- Proven experience in large-scale ERP implementations and project leadership.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and ERP ROI.
- Experience with automation and data management tools.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the UAE region, EPC/construction industry customers, or in-house customer support.
