Data Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with 5?8 years of experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in credit risk modeling, fraud detection, customer analytics, pricing optimization, and business forecasting. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, product teams, and leadership to create scalable AI/ML solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for business use cases.
- Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Build predictive models for credit risk assessment, fraud detection, customer segmentation, churn prediction, and pricing optimization.
- Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.
- Develop data pipelines and automate ML workflows.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and business-friendly manner.
- Work with large-scale datasets using cloud and big data technologies.
- Ensure model governance, monitoring, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Machine Learning Algorithms, and Statistical Modeling.
- Experience with Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, XGBoost / LightGBM.
- Good understanding of Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Model Evaluation Metrics, and Feature Engineering.
- Experience in at least one domain: Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail Analytics.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools: Power BI / Tableau / Matplotlib.
- Experience working on cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Exposure to NLP or Generative AI use cases.
- Knowledge of MLOps tools: MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Spark / PySpark.
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Databricks.
- Exposure to real-time fraud analytics or recommendation engines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer, Google Professional ML Engineer.
