Data Engineer (AI Platforms)
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer specializing in AI Platforms, with 5?8 years of experience in building scalable data pipelines, feature stores, and modern data platforms that support AI/ML and advanced analytics workloads. The ideal candidate should have expertise in big data technologies, cloud platforms, ETL/ELT frameworks, and distributed data processing systems. You will work closely with Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, Analysts, and Platform Teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data infrastructure for AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for AI and analytics workloads.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data.
- Build and maintain feature stores for machine learning use cases.
- Work with large-scale distributed data processing frameworks.
- Ensure data quality, governance, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Data Science teams to enable ML model training and inference.
- Implement data orchestration and workflow automation solutions.
- Manage cloud-native data platforms and storage systems.
- Support real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines.
- Maintain documentation and data architecture standards.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing.
- Expertise in Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, and Kafka.
- Cloud platform experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Airflow, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
- Experience with data modeling, feature engineering pipelines, and batch and streaming architectures.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Feature Stores, Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
- Knowledge of MLOps integration, CI/CD for data pipelines, and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to real-time analytics, generative AI data pipelines, and vector databases.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, and data governance frameworks.
- Experience in BFSI, Retail, or Healthcare domains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Databricks Data Engineer Associate/Professional, AWS Data Analytics Certification, Google Professional Data Engineer, Azure Data Engineer Associate.
