Cost and Estimation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Cost and Estimation Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and the design of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) panels. This role involves costing estimation, vendor coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of BOM and design of LV and MV APFC panels.
- Costing estimation and vendor coordination.
- Preparation of offers for power quality solutions including capacitor banks, APFC (LV/MV), active filters, and hybrid panels.
- Conducting technical discussions and presentations/webinars with customers.
- Handling price negotiations with customers.
Requirements
- Education: BE/B-Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of power quality solutions and reactive power compensation.
- Experience in designing and developing BOM for MV and LV APFC requirements.
- Prior experience in customer communication for technical discussions.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical components (LV and MV panels; experience with capacitors is a plus).
