Desired Characteristics

B. Tech/BE Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 - 5 years of industry experience.
Ability to understand electrical designs and obsolescence management.
Ability to interpret EBOM, understand Engineering drawings & Specifications.
Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented and able to multi-task.
Good team player with communication and interpersonal Skills.
Knowledge of MS Office tools.

Qualifications / Requirements

Part life cycle verification as confirmed by manufacturer. BOM scrubbing and roadmap analysis.
Building BoM structure in PLM tool.
Preparation of component selection criteria/guideline/manual. Build part library with approved components.
Review supplier Product Change Notices (PCN) for impact and provide obsolescence data to customers.
Suggest alternate parts using Form Fit Function and value engineering.
Standardization of Electrical and Electromechanical components in database. Parameter mapping and technology trends.
Review & verify identified components with subject matter experts. Work closely with global stakeholders.
Support change management process (ECR/ECO).
Experience in IHS/Silicon Expert, PLM/PDM tools like My Workshop, MAGIC, etc.
