CATIA Layout Engineer

The engineering partner will deliver engineering services requiring automotive electrical skills for low-voltage systems and layout expertise within CATIA. The role combines hands-on electrical engineering judgement with mastery of the CATIA toolchain to route, package, and validate wiring harnesses and associated low-voltage electrical architecture across the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate electrical schematics and architecture requirements into validated 3D harness routings and packaging solutions within CATIA.
• Coordinate precise 3D spatial positioning and attachment locations for grounding studs onto the vehicle architecture within CATIA.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Experience: Proven experience delivering automotive low-voltage electrical and wiring harness designs in a production environment.
• Technical Skills: Advanced, hands-on proficiency with CATIA spatial routing, packaging, and electrical harness workbenches.
• Knowledge: Working knowledge of automotive electrical standards, grounding practices, and design-for-manufacturing principles.
