AWS Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer with a strong background in AWS services and data engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with various AWS tools and technologies to build and maintain data pipelines. This is a contract position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Utilize Python for data processing and transformation tasks.
• Work with AWS Glue, Athena, and EMR for data management (nice to have).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Ensure data quality through the implementation of monitoring tools and frameworks.
• Handle streaming data pipelines using Kafka or Kinesis (exposure is a plus).
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Requirements

• 7-11 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on AWS services.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data workflows.
• Exposure to streaming data technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis is a plus.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
