Associate Product Manager
We are seeking a motivated Associate Product Manager to support the end-to-end execution of our products within Agile SaaS workflows. This role emphasizes the creation of user stories, collaboration during sprints, clarity of requirements, and achieving adoption outcomes. You will work closely with engineering, QA, customer success, and leadership teams to translate customer pain points into actionable product tasks, ensure smooth sprint execution, and contribute to retention and churn reduction through thoughtful product decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Execution & User Stories: Convert customer problems and business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and PRDs.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness in Scrum-based Agile teams.
- Validate builds, identify gaps, and ensure requirements are met before release.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, QA, customer success, and leadership to ensure a shared understanding of scope and priorities.
- Act as the execution bridge between customer-facing teams and delivery teams.
- Coordinate feature rollouts and internal readiness across stakeholders.
- Agile & Scrum Delivery: Participate actively in sprint ceremonies: stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
- Track delivery progress and remove blockers through structured communication.
- Ensure sprint outcomes align with roadmap priorities and customer impact.
- Customer Impact, Retention & Churn Reduction: Monitor usage patterns, escalations, and feedback to identify product risks.
- Proactively flag issues that could impact adoption or retention.
- Support initiatives that improve stability, usability, and long-term account health.
Requirements
- Core Product Skills: Strong understanding of product management fundamentals across the product lifecycle.
- Experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Collaboration & Execution: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and QA teams.
- Clear communicator who brings structure to ambiguous requirements.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders without formal authority.
- Customer & Business Orientation: Awareness of churn drivers and retention levers in SaaS products.
- Ability to connect customer pain points to product improvements.
- Experience supporting onboarding, adoption, or enterprise accounts is a strong plus.
- Tools & Ways of Working: Proficient in Jira (or equivalent sprint tracking tools) and Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Experience in SaaS product environments (ATS / HR Tech experience preferred).
