Application Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to support Gold Loan applications in an NBFC environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of business-critical applications by providing production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and coordination with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application support for Gold Loan applications.
• Monitor application health and resolve production issues within SLA.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets using ServiceNow/JIRA.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
• Support Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS).
• Execute and monitor batch jobs and interfaces.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Validate application fixes and support UAT activities.
• Prepare daily health check reports and incident reports.
• Maintain support documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in production deployments and release activities.

Requirements

• Experience in Application Support / Production Support (L1/L2).
• Hands-on experience in Gold Loan, NBFC, or Lending domain.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ticketing tools.
• Good understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
• Knowledge of LOS (Loan Origination System) and LMS (Loan Management System).
• Experience in batch monitoring and production support activities.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
